  • “I support JohnBoy because I know he will work hard for WV! He cares deeply about people and strives to move WV forward. He’s done a tremendous job as Mayor of Monongah and he’ll do a tremendous job as a Delegate! Public service is his passion!”

    -Senator Mike Caputo

  • “I support JohnBoy for WV House of Delegates because I know he will represent the hard working people of Marion County each and everyday. JohnBoy isn’t someone that will only show up during election season. JohnBoy is someone I know I could call day or night and he’d be right there to help me. He’s someone that will push his sleeves up and do the work right beside you. Since we were young kids, JohnBoy has shown pride in his community and does whatever he can to make our county a better place; whether it’s putting on a Santa suit to wave at kids or cutting grass at an intersection to avoid someone having an accident, JohnBoy’s always there and never too busy to get his hands dirty. I wholeheartedly believe that JohnBoy will represent the interest of those of us that work hard each day for what we have, which is why it’s a “no-brainer” to vote for JohnBoy!

    -Melissa Angelucci, Marion County Resident

  • “JohnBoy Palmer has been more than a Mayor to our town and its residents. He always takes a hands-on approach to bring about positive changes and improvements. He is accessible, invested in the community, and open to new and innovative ideas. He is a problem-solver and listens to all concerns. He takes his job seriously and genuinely wants to help people. Our non-profit organization had quickly outgrown its space and when this concern was presented to him, he immediately provided a town building for a fully functioning food pantry that serves approximately 100 needy families each week.”

-Kelly Streyle, Director of The Giver’s Hand Community Food Pantry

  • “A few years ago we had a major flood at our home. Mayor JohnBoy was one of the first people to reach out to offer help. At that time we didn’t know the magnitude of the workload ahead of us. JohnBoy knew we needed help before we knew ourselves. JohnBoy showed up with supplies, his amazing attitude and uplifting smile without being asked. He showed up day after day to do the muddy work and help raise our spirits. He selflessly gives his time to everyone. I know he’ll take that same dedication to helping others when he’s in the House of Delegates.”

    -Amanda Simmons, Marion County Resident

  • “JohnBoy is not just Mayor, he goes above and beyond here as Mayor. He shovels the sidewalks and stocks the charity food box that they have out here. I’ve spoken with several people about him and they all have just wonderful things to say about him because he goes so much above and beyond the call of duty.”

    -Tim Manchin, Marion County Resident

  • JohnBoy always goes above and beyond his duties as Mayor. He truly cares about the residents of Monongah. Johnboy has helped residents with cleaning their property, cutting grass, cleaning flooded basements and so much more. He has started a family movie night and several other activities for our community. Johnboy listens and does what he truly believes is the best for our town. On a personal note, Johnboy along with his family have helped so many families in need. When my husband had cancer they did a fundraiser for my him. I don't know what we would have done without their help. I am blessed to have him as a friend and a boss. I support Johnboy for WV House of Delegates! He will stand up for the hard working people of Marion County!!

    -Tonia, Marion County Resident

  • “We need representation from our community leaders that understand small community leadership. When I say small, I mean the size of town you represent. It’s not a small job, and John does it with ease. Fair, practical, and loves his community, county, and state. And one thing’s for sure - he won’t forget us up north when he takes his seat in Charleston.”

-Lora Wetzel Michael, Mayor of Mannington, WV
